TL;DR - The Short Version
Pack Saver does not collect ANY data about you. Everything happens locally in your browser. We don't track you, sell your data, or even know you're using the extension. Your privacy is 100% protected.
Introduction
Pack Saver ("we", "our", or "the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Pack Saver handles (or rather, doesn't handle) your data when you use our Chrome browser extension.
Data Collection
We collect ZERO data.
Pack Saver does not collect, store, transmit, or share any information about:
- Your browsing history
- Shopping activity or purchases
- Product searches or views

How Pack Saver Works
Pack Saver operates entirely within your browser:

- No User Accounts: No sign-up, no login, no user profiles
Data Storage
The ONLY data stored by Pack Saver is:
- Extension On/Off State: A simple preference to remember if you've disabled the extension on specific sites
- Location: Stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API
- Transmission: This data never leaves your computer
Permissions Explained
Pack Saver requests the following permissions, and here's exactly why:
- activeTab: To read product information on the shopping page you're viewing (only when active)
- scripting: To display price badges and the overlay on product pages
- storage: To save your on/off preference locally
These permissions are used ONLY for the extension's core functionality and nothing else.

Pack Saver does not use any third-party services.
We don't integrate with:
- Analytics platforms
- Advertising networks
- Data brokers
- Tracking services
- External APIs

- Update this privacy policy
- Update the "Last Updated" date
- Notify users through the Chrome Web Store update notes
Your Rights
Under GDPR and other privacy laws, you have certain rights regarding your data. Since Pack Saver doesn't collect any data, these rights don't really apply - but just so you know:
